KROIN AG is a Swiss based blockchain startup located since 2015 in the heart of Zug, the global headquarters of "Crypto Valley".

Our two founders have strong backgrounds in both Finance (traditional and alternative investments, portfolio diversification, business strategy) and Computer Science (IT security, operations, development, cryptography, centralised and decentralised technologies, business strategies) areas.

They have combined their expertise to support global companies in different sectors aiming to tokenise their traditional business model.

Business Model Tokenisation approach

Thanks to twenty five years of experience in implementing solid IT, payment, banking and investment solutions for different customers in different areas, since the dawn of Blockchain technology in 2010 we have been focusing our attention on being fully transparent and legally compliant: we are decentralisation oriented but respect mandatory compliance rules, this is the core of our approach.

The Swiss legal framework for cryptocurrencies was the first one to be born globally so we feel we are a step ahead of other jurisdictions. On 16 February 2018, FINMA (the Swiss financial services regulator) published the Swiss Guidelines for the Application of Financial Market Law in its "ICO Guidelines". In this guide, FINMA explains how cryptocurrencies and other coins, tokens and any other assets registered in a distributed ledger are classified according to Swiss law.

In 2018, KROIN AG designed the Regula Network, a now patented methodology concerning user data identification and protection in distributed ledger technologies.
